This policy explains what we collect when you use the Champion Embroidery and Screen Printing website and school stores, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Who we are

Champion Embroidery and Screen Printing (“Champion ESP”, “we”, “us”), 1012 S Cashua Dr, Florence, SC 29501. Email info@champesp.com, phone (843) 667-3306 or (843) 667-9410.

What we collect

When you place an order:

• your name, email address and phone number
• billing address, and delivery address if different
• the school and teacher’s name you enter for each item
• what you ordered, the size and color, and the amount you paid

We never see your full card number. Card details are entered at checkout and go directly to our payment processor, Authorize.net. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded and the last few digits of the card.

When you simply browse: standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and which school store you came through.

You do not need an account. This store uses guest checkout, so we do not create logins or store passwords for customers.

Why we need it

To take payment, produce your order, get it to the right person, contact you if there is a problem, keep records required for tax and accounting, and to run and secure the website.

The school and teacher name exist for one reason: school apparel is sorted and handed out by classroom. Without it we cannot get the right shirt to the right child.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses:

• champ_school — remembers which school store you entered from, so your school’s logo, colors and pricing follow you through to the cart. Set by us, and the reason you do not have to re-pick your school on every page.
• WooCommerce cookies — keep your cart contents and your session while you shop. Without these the cart cannot work.
• Google Analytics cookies — see below.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the cart and school cookies will stop the store working properly.

Analytics

[CONFIRM — the site currently loads Google Analytics using property UA-113864796-1. That is a Universal Analytics ID, and Google stopped processing data for Universal Analytics properties in 2023. So this tag is almost certainly collecting nothing. Champion ESP should decide: remove the tag entirely, or replace it with a current GA4 property. This section should then be rewritten to match whichever is true. Do not leave this page claiming analytics that do not run, or running analytics this page does not disclose.]

Google Maps

Our contact page embeds a Google map showing our location. Loading that map means Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. That is governed by Google’s privacy policy, not ours.

Who we share your information with

• The school — we pass along the school and teacher name, and what was ordered, so orders can be distributed to the right classroom.
• Authorize.net — our payment processor, to take payment.
• Our web host and email provider — to run the site and send you order confirmations.
• Suppliers and delivery services — only where needed to fulfil your order.
• Anyone we are legally required to share with.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Children

This store is for adults placing orders on a child’s behalf. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.

An order does identify a child indirectly, through the school and teacher name. We treat that as order information, share it only with the school for distribution, and do not use it for marketing.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as needed to fulfil the order, handle any problem with it, and meet tax and accounting obligations.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email info@champesp.com and we will respond as soon as we can.

You can also unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in that email. Order confirmations are not marketing and will still be sent.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection and card details are handled entirely by our payment processor. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
